씨앗 속에는 떡잎이 있습니다

떡잎 속에는 한 생애가 다리 뻗을 햇살이 있습니다

햇살 속에는 무심의 강물

강물 속에는 이야기가 있습니다

이야기 속에는 슬프고 고운 색깔이 있습니다

색깔 속에는 더디고 질긴 꿈이 있습니다

꿈속에는 눈물이, 눈물 속에는 소금이 있습니다

소금 속에는, 소금 속에는

저린 삶이 있습니다

내 잡고 서 있는 아흔아홉 현금

어느 것을 울려도 나는 아픕니다

버린 돌멩이 하나

흐르는 세월 속에 놓친 바람 한 조각도

풍랑이 되어, 반란이 되어 날 풀어 헤칩니다

씨앗이 움켜쥔 정절은

내 기후에 떨어져 뿌리를 내립니다

날개가 됩니다, 기폭이 됩니다, 믿음이 됩니다

독한 삶이 되어 다시

씨앗을 낳습니다.

In a seed there lies a tiny leaf.

In a tiny leaf lies sunlight for its life to be thriven.

In a sunlight, a river of purity.

In a river, a story.

In a story, a color woven into sorrow and beauty.

In a color, a dream steady and endless.

In a dream a tear, and In a tear a salt.

In a salt, in a salt

There is a life of agony.

Ninety nine strings I am holding,

I could not play a string without a sore heart.

even a ston cast away there,

A piece of wind lost in the flowing times,

They become a high seas, rebellions to disperse me.

The spirit the seed conceives is sowed

In my soil and strike its root there,

It becomes a wing, a banner and a faith.

It becomes a harsh life.

And bears the seeds again.
