당나귀와 애인

나는 네가 당나귀일 때가 좋아 참 좋아

당나귀는 말이 없지

말총꼬리 흔들어 날파리를 쫓는다

하지만 악다구니들은 달아나는 척 멀리 물러났다가

화롯가에 모여들듯

눈곱 낀 당나귀 눈자위에 빙 둘러앉지

눈가의 깊은 주름 호수에 발을 담근 채

날파리들은 가난한 얼굴 후줄근히 당나귀의 눈물샘을

슬프도록 오래오래 공짜로

빨아 먹는다

나는 네가 당나귀일 때가 참 좋아

네 눈동자 깊이 노랑 민들레가 피어나는 걸 멀리서

혼자 지나치게 되더라도

까닭도 없이 가슴 쿵쿵 뛰는 내 자신조차

사랑스럽고 좋아

눈치 빠른 당나귀 아직은 말을 아끼고 있지

A dinky donkey, she is my beloved as she is

she is a dumb, not speaking

only wagging her tail to put out flies

The dingy naughty flies,

they used to pretend, running away far from her

But soon after return back to the donkey's wet eyes

as they sit around a warm fireplace likely at home

The wrinkled dinkey eyes are clean lake

as clair as a mirror but they look always sorrowful

The poor starving flies drink donkey's salty tears

sadly as much as possible, free of charge

for a long time

kneeling down their legs at the donkey's deep

eyebrows as they do at a lagoon

A dinky donkey, she is my beloved as she is

Though I'm passing away by her with ignorance

I know a yellow dandelion blooms in her dark eyes

I love even myself having such a feeling,

as my heart beats without reason

The donkey who is not a deaf but is wise enough,

haven't say anything any word yet
